I have been playing the sax professionally for 35 years. My most memorable gig was for former President Clinton at a fund raiser for Senator Kennedy in Boston with the John Payne Saxophone Choir. I have been repairing saxophones for almost 23 years. When I played this sax, I could not put it down. I like it better than any Selmer that I have ever played, including the Mark VI. It has a huge sound, a more even timbre, the altissimo and subtones are very easy to sound, and yet the tone is warm and full bodied. It is a combination between the projection and brilliance of a Mark VI sound and the fullness and body of a King Super 20 with the smooth action of the Super Action 80.

DC PRO SERIES II is engaged in one ongoing pursuit -- perfecting the saxophone. By focusing its attention on each individual part and on the distinctive systems of each instrument, it strives to expand the instrument's tonal range, perfect its intonation and refine its ergonomics.
